Umm, oops. I have been stressing about all the things I haven't done for the meeting with the council. Ahem, Ursula has just pointed out that the meeting is not this Wednesday; it's on the 29th!
I'm very sorry about getting this wrong :-(

I am overjoyed that someone is doing something about the ridiculous and stressfull parking situation in Marchmont zone 8.
I've had a few chats with the council (who have told me that they are not planning to change anything at all) but I can start a campaign if I want to. I live on Warrender Park Road and can now never park even near to our flat. I've got 2 small children and this morning had to walk 10 mins to get the car as it was parked miles away! We were of course late for pre-school.I often have a tonne of bags plus 2 kids to carry in and Idon't ask to park outside the house, just near it! I'm now having to shell out for a parking ticket as if I'm a visitor as they're the only spaces available.Anyway I could rant on for ever about this but let me know what we can do to help. I have lots of friends nearby similarly annoyed.
